He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Lake. He is survived by: his children, Michael Lake (Judith), Linda Lake, William Lake, Mark Lake, Timothy Lake (Lisa) and Kimberly Charlton (Keith). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
