It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jeanne Rolande Bernek of Lighthouse Point, Florida, who passed away on October 29, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Charlebois and Clara Charlebois (Pomanville); her husband Evan "John" Bernek (John); her daughter Linda; her great grandchildren, Jaxon Martel and Baby William Roan Davis; and her siblings, Simone Masse, Rita Booska, Real Charlebois, Richard Charlebois, Anita Godard and Rena Booth.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Vinson (Curt) of Lighthouse Point, FL and Deanna Martin (Jeff) of Plainfield, VT; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Martel, Kelly McKenney (Thomas), Tad Davis (Haley), Heather Guptill (Alden), Kate Martin (Josh) and Betsy Martin; her great grandchildren, Devon McKenney, Faye Davis, Gwen Davis, Teddy Davis, Lacey Guptill, Maxine Guptill, Georgiana Guptill, Silas Lockwood and Maya Lockwood; and her brothers, Bernard and Eugene (Judy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (728 Mountain Rd, Stowe, VT 05672). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Eaton Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers you may contribute to VitasCommunityConnection.Org which was the Hospice organization that took care of Jeanne. 100% of the donations received are returned to the community where she received her services.
