It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Javier Ignacio Semerene (Lighthouse Point, Florida), who passed away on December 18, 2020, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Semerene and Sonia Semerene; and his sister Carime Semerene. He is survived by: his wife Molly; his children, Joshua, Juliana and Jonathan; and his brothers, Jose, Bernardo and Ruben.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in his honor to the International Rescue Committee.
