It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Brown Rodormer (Lighthouse Point, Florida), born in Greenville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 6, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Nannie Hudson Brown and Oscar Hubert Brown; her brothers, Oscar Hubert Brown, II and Miles Gordon Brown; her former husband John F. Petty; her husband George W. Rodormer; her children, Martha B. Petty (Mark Weisburd) of Chapel Hill, NC and William M. Petty; her grandson Trevor Fugett Petty of Detroit, MI; and her stepdaughter Kim Fruda of Daytona Beach, FL. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
