He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Bernard Cunningham and Kathleen Miles; his girlfriend Judith McLaughlin; his children, Kathleen Doherty (Edward), James Cunningham and Douglas Cunningham; and his brother Barry Cunningham (Adelaide). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and close friends.
