He was predeceased by: his father John; his wife Dolores K. Vespia; his son Richard T. Vespia; his siblings, Doris Connell and George Vespia; and his son-in-law Steve Horan.

He is survived by: his children, Donna Horan, Ronald Vespia (Karen), Robert J. Vespia (Elaine) and Roland Vespia (Michelle). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Hope Hospice 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
