He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Trickett and Sarah Trickett; his wife Anne; his grandson Douglas Trickett; and his siblings, William, Charles, Virginia, Edith, John, Elizabeth and Joseph.

He is survived by: his children, Robert Trickett (Beate), Lorna Dhondt (John), John Trickett (Brigitte) and Elizabeth Ijames (Paul); his grandchildren, Charney, Michelle, Robert Trickett, Benjamin Myers, Zachariah, Eliza Trickett, Kevin, Brian, Shawn Grogg and Daniel Ijames; and his brother Gerald Trickett. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; sister.

Memorial contributions in his name would be appreciated to the Disabled Veterans Association at DAV.org.
