He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burns and Priscilla Burns; and his son Joseph Beams. He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Bret, Rachelle (Danny Watkins) and Tyler (Victoria Mastropola); his siblings, Tim (Theresa) and Bethanne; and his grandchildren, Ashlynn, Adelynn Watkins and Joey Beams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hope Hospice in Randall Burns' name.
