He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Henry and Emma K. Wittenberg (Schultz); his wife Lona Gail Doehring; his siblings, George, John, Glen, Clarence, Raymond Wittenberg and Ida; and his grandmother Ferchow.
He is survived by: his son Rick Wittenberg (Debbie) of Fort Myers, FL; his brother Lloyd Wittenberg (Shirley) of Effingham, IL; his granddaughters, Alicia McCallister (David) of Readyville, TN and McKenzie Wittenberg of Ft. Myers, FL; and his great grandchild Weston McCallister.
Memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran School or Trinity Lutheran Church, both in Stewardson, and mailed to Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, 415 North Broadway, Shelbyville, IL 62565.
