He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Louise Pena Contreras; his daughters, Lisa Contreras, Christina Caravantes (Carlos), Nichole Aguilar (Jose), Gloria Contreras, Victoria Contreras and Justine Gallegos (Richard); and his siblings, Alejandro, Esteban, Gustavo, Hilario, Jamie, Miguel, Tina, Nicole and Sergio. He was also cherished by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
