He was predeceased by: his parents, George Melvin and Ruby Alice Bell (Householder); his daughter Judi Chittam; his granddaughter Zoey A Lockwood; and his brother-in-law Charles Faust.
He is survived by: his wife Frances (Burcham); his sister Sharon Faust; his sons, Scott Bell (Julie), Todd Bell (Susan) and Robert Bell (Sherry); and his grandchildren, John, Chelsea, Samantha, Carissa, Chase, Emma, Joshua, Joseph and Anna. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lowell's name to Disabled Veterans.
