He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bill and Helen Bill; his wife Joyce Bill; and his granddaughter Chrissy. He is survived by: his children, Linda Olding, Steve Bill, Dennis Bill (Jan), Cindy Millican (Jimmy) and Chris Williams (Brad); his grandchildren, Tracy Nault (Bryan), Stevie Bill, Mike Tadjewski (Anna), Jennifer Belcher (AJ), Derek Bill (Erin), Kelsey Triplett (Adam), Angie Millican (Jeff Soltez), Stephanie Young (Jason) and Kevin Williams (Tatiana); and his brother Ronnie Bill (Diana). He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Leonard's name would be appreciated to the Gulf Coast Humane Society 2010 Arcadia Street, Fort Myers, FL 33916.
