It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Esther Berrios-Marrero of Lehigh Acres, Florida, who passed away on December 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Marrero and Paula Ortiz; her son Jose Luis "Little Joe" Berrios Jr.; and her siblings, Victor Ramon Marrero, Juanita Marrero, Raul Marrero, Ángel Manuel Marrero, Félix Marrero and Silvia Marrero.

She is survived by: her husband Jose Luis "Papa" Berrios Rivera; her children, Luis Ramon Berrios (Norma) and Anna Marie Thomas (Jerry); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Luis Jr., Xavier and Noralis; her great grandchildren, Penelope and Emarelli; and her brother Pablo Marrero Ortiz (Rosa Soto).
