Judith Ann Zitzer Obituary
Judith (Judie) Zitzer was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on December 5, 2021 at Hope House in Lehigh Acres, FL at the age of 82. She was born to Gottfried (Guffy) and Margie Zitzer in Sheboygan, WI on September 26, 1939. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1958.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Freddy and David Zitzer, of Sheboygan, and her Granddaughter Melissa. She is survived by one sister, Eileen (Zitzer) Drexler of California, Son Donald Semple of Lehigh Acres, FL, Daughter Sharon, Son Richard Semple of Colorado, and one Grandson Mason; In addition to many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Judie loved arts and crafts, was an avid home decorator, an accomplished seamstress. She had a great fondness for animals, especially cats. Judie was devoted to God and spent much of her time involved at Richmond Avenue Baptist Church in Lehigh Acres. Despite her busy lifestyle, she still enjoyed spending time with her family, and opened her heart and home to weary souls needing comfort. She had an endless smile and infectious laugh. Judie planted a seed of joy in every heart she encountered.
A Celebration of Life is scheduled at Richmond Avenue Baptist Church, 304 Richmond Avenue N, Lehigh Acres, FL at 2:00 pm on December 19, 2021.
