He was predeceased by: his father Richard Thomas; and his daughters, Clara Sue and Virginia Ann Hellard. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Hellard (Williams); his children, Joseph Hellard Jr., Kevin Hellard Sr., Leslie Hellard, Tammy Jo Hellard and Vickie Hellard; and his sisters, Sadie Murch and Sylvia Barnes. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren & 12 Great Grandchildren.
