He was predeceased by: his daughter Joy M. Mills; his parents, Richard Mills and Lula Mills; his brother Charles R. Mills; his parents-in-law, Dawson and Etta McDaniel; his sister Bobbie Jo; and his brother-in-law Franky Daniels.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his son John D. Mills (Kimberly Ann Chaps) of Fort Myers, FL.; his sister-in-law Emily Mills; his niece Suzanne Eades (Tom); his great-nieces, Emma Grace and Charlotte; his brother-in-law Dawson C. McDaniel (Georgianna); his nieces and nephews, George (Christina), Anna (Allison), Alan Daniels and Kimberlee Schulze (Dutch); his great-nephew Grant (Brianna); his niece Brenda Montella (Anthony); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Glades, Griffin, Victoria, Gianna and Cindy Johnson (Travis). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
