He is survived by: his wife Marcia Carter (Cocker); his children, Kristopher Carter and Jennie Weaver; his siblings, Wid, Dwain, Vonceil Blackmon, Shirley Bryan, Mildred Philyaw and Linda Costley; and his grandchildren, Jordan and Tanner.
