He is survived by: his father Lloyd Ashford of Illinois; his wife Bridgett Thurman Ashford; his children, Gerald "Chip" Ashford of Illinois and Brittany Ashford-Tarver of Florida; and his grandchildren, Haley of Illinois, Madison of Illinois, Olivia of Illinois, Gavin Ashford of Illinois, Malaki and Willie of Florida. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
