She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Emeline Simpson (Russell) and Walter Simpson; her husband Roland Currie; her children, Pamelia Currie, Pauline Spence, Melvalin Williams, Velma Rushing and Lloyd Currie; her grandchildren, Naamen Currie, Wayne Rushing, Yannick Anderson, Wynn-Song Rushing and Tamika Lewin; her great grandchildren, Elijah Crowther, Judah Anderson, Nariah Currie, Ochon Evans and Shaniyah Whyte; her sister Herma Brown; her brother-in-law Walter Brown; her friends, Marlene Robinson, Daphne Forrester, Mavis Lawrence and Hazel Lightbourne; and her cousin Samuel Baxter. She was also cherished by extended family members; nieces; nephews; cousins, and steadfast friends.

Those in attendance are required to submit to temperature screening, wear a mask and are asked to socially distance when possible and appropriate.
