He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene and Stanley; and his siblings, Glen, Martha Chaffin, Geneva Kitchens and Shirley Brown.

He is survived by: his sons, Don and Dale Blackburn; his sister Wanda Heuck; and his wife Marla. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Buddy became ill with COVID-19 in early August.
