She was predeceased by: her brother Dannie Phelps II; her father Dannie Robert Phelps Sr.; her uncles, Lukey Phelps and Clint Withers; and her grandparents, Ernest, Yvonne Withers, Bernie Brewer and Leo Phelps.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick O'Neill; her mother Kay Silliman (Withers); her grandmother Shirley Brewer; her aunts and uncles, Brenda Brewer (Withers), Charlene (Withers), William Perkins, Chad, Teresa Withers, Jamie Brewer, Kevin Brewer, Kerry, Sandy Brewer, Kelly and Dawn Brewer; her close friend Shella Harms; her pet Bailey; and her parents-in-law, Bob, Noreen O'Neill, Mike O'Neill, Patty Pozo, Jenny, Danny Calistro, Colleen and Brian Gorski. She is also survived by other relatives, lots of cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Dena's honor to the American Cancer Society.
