She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Hamilton and Katherine Hamilton; and her siblings, Vincent Hamilton and Lynette Hamilton. She is survived by: her husband Roy Lindo; her sons, Patrick Lindo (Karen) and Winston Lindo; her grandchildren, Brandon Lindo and Kayla Portis (Caleb); her great grandchildren, Charles Portis and Caleb Portis Jr.; her sisters, Eulah Simpson and Violet Hamilton; and also Jesus. She is also survived by in laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

She stated that "The best part of her ancestry is the foundation that her parents (especially her dad) gave her and her siblings.
