It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Louise Rushton of Lehigh Acres, Florida, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Woulfe and Eileen Woulfe; and her brothers, Sean Woulfe, Michael Woulfe, Shamus Woulfe and Albert Woulfe.
She is survived by: her husband John Rushton of Lehigh Acres; her children, Sharon Rushton of Ishpeming, MI, Donna Rushton of Cape Coral and John Rushton of Minder, NV; her siblings, Patricia Woulfe of Braintree, Maureen Woulfe (Lorna Carpenter) of Baldwinsville, NY and Joseph Woulfe (Janet Burgess) of England; her grandchildren, Andrew Rushton (Aubrie Carlson), Amber Rushton, Tiffany Rushton, Jeremy Rushton and James Ward; and her great grandchildren, Chance Rushton, Taylor Rushton and Peyton Scott.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mullins Memorial (3654 Palm Beach Blvd, Fort Myers, FL 33916). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
