He is survived by: his children, Aida Saldivar (Johnny), Senaida Canales (Ozzie), Adam Canales III (Cathy) and Rafael Canales (Samantha); his grandchildren, Jay, Alexa, Monica, Nicholas, Brittany, Adam IV, Owen and Rafael, Jr.; his stepdaughter Reyna Tethu (Juan); and his siblings, Rosendo Canales, Jose Mario Canales and Maria Jovita Canales Garza. He is also survived by great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, countless friends.
