She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade Phillips and Sara Catherine Phillips (Ashby); and her husband Troy Adams. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nathan Moore, James Sarks (Jill), Katherine Dyke (Dave) and Jenny Sarks; her great grandchildren, Arianna Settle, Victoria Moore, Christopher Dyke, Cory Sarks and Abby Sarks; and her great great grandchildren, Ayden, Michael and Matthew.

The family has requested donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice at 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778 in Virginia's loving memory.
