With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Joseph Furlong of Leesburg, Florida, born in Camden, New Jersey, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Anthony Furlong and Catherine Geraldine Furlong (Ryan); his wife Geraldine "Gerry" Furlong of Leesburg, FL; his children, Rich Furlong of New York, NY, Steve Hawthorne (Barbara) of Brick, NJ, Paul Furlong (Lisa) of Newtown, PA and Jackie Scholten (Scott) of Holly Springs, NC; and his brothers, Dennis Furlong of Fraser, CO and Joe Furlong (Jen) of Audubon, NJ. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
