He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, David Arndt (Pam) of Flushing, MI, Ted Arndt of West Jefferson, N. C., Herb Arndt (Janet) of Ocala, FL and Emma Simmons (Myron) of Mount Airy, N. C.; and his siblings, Kenneth Arndt of Michigan, Ernest Arndt of Colorado, Dorothea Moll of California, Doris Pushman of Michigan and Hilda Goerke of Michigan. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
