He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Wetherell and Helen Wetherell (Pierce); his former wife Fredine Wetherell; and his daughter Joy Simeti. He is survived by: his wife Rose Wetherell; his children, Michael Wetherell (Maria), Lisa Schroeder (John) and Christopher Wetherell (Carolyn); his stepson Mark Bogi (Tammy); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Zachary, Brendan, Nicole, Matthew, Joseph, Ashlyn, Ryan, Benjamin and Christopher; and his siblings, Jean Wolters and Austin Wetherell.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Chapel (226 E Burleigh Blvd, Tavares, FL 32778). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
