He is survived by: his grandfather Peter Jerome; his spouse Josephine "Jo" Carano; his children, Deborah, Theresa (Scott Elia), Peter Jr. "Buddha" (Katya), Michael (Diane), Thomas (Michelle), Steven, Jenna (Vince Bongermino) and Margaret (Moore); his grandchildren, Ben, Allison, Becky, Madelyn, Ryan, Nina, Garrett, Gavin, Dylan, Rachel, Jake, Michaella, Sophia, Caitlin, Belvie Jr., Sarah and Sergei; his sister Elizabeth Cartisano; and also Hurtt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
