He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Lawrence; his wife Kathy; his children, Tara Menjares (Michael), Kevin Serpa, Matthew Serpa (Kaitlyn), Michael Serpa (Kayla) and Felicia Serpa; his mother Mary Jacobsen; his stepfather Carl Jacobsen; his brother Robert Jacobsen; and his grandchildren, Yanisia Ortega and Rayna Serpa. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
