With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nilda Mandry in Leesburg, Florida, who passed away on November 4, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nilda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nilda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Felix Mandry; and her parents, Serso Martinez and Adelia Velez. She is survived by: her daughters, Betsy Arrington (Harvey L. Arrington Jr.), Evelyn Zayas (Carlos Zayas) and Wanda Cedeño; and her brother Jimmy Galindez. She is also survived by grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (426 E Washington Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06608). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (885 Boston Ave, Bridgeport, CT 06610).
