It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. McConnell of Leesburg, Florida, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McConnell and Vivian McConnell (Atkinson); and his niece Adrienne Gavula. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Booth McConnell; his children, Molly Hunt (Mike) and Marcus McConnell (Marielena); his grandchildren, Brittany Dennis, Brooke Dennis, Matthew Hunt and Jordan Hunt; his great grandchildren, Saleen and James; his siblings, Patty Sauers (Tom), Bob McConnell (Dorothy), Denny McConnell (Sheila), John McConnell (Diane), Mary McConnell, Greg McConnell (Donna) and Ed McConnell (Stephanie); and his friend Chris Grimes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
