It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew T. Kayes (Leesburg, Florida), born in Leonardtown, Maryland, who passed away on July 10, 2019, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William J. Kayes. He is survived by: his wife Melissa Medea Kayes; his mother Marjorie Kays; his children, Robert Smith of Maryland and Trea McQuiston of Louisiana; his stepchildren, Dalton Long of Leesburg, Kelsey Long of Kentucky and Kaitlyn Long of Kentucky; his siblings, William Kayes (Lorraine) of Virginia, Kenneth Kayes (Tracy) of Missouri, Christopher Kayes of Leesburg and Helena Fondeur (Humberto) of Maryland; and also Harley.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to assist in covering funeral expenses.
