He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Oelke and Margaret Oelke (Ravenscroft); his brother Gary Oelke; his niece Sherry Meyer; and his son-in-law Tim McIntyre.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Marie Oelke; his daughters, Sandra McIntyre and Deborah McCormick; and his grandchildren, Kristy Carver (Mark), Jennifer Sherer (Jeff), Shannon Moseley (John), Shaunna Kemp (Chad) and Robert McCormick. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
