She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Backenstross, Jr. and Julia Backenstross (Miller); and her husband Dexter Allen. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Mary Jane Efstathiou (Chris) of Bainbridge Island, WA; and her friends, Cecilia Grcic, Sally Canaday, Becky Draime, Barry Jordan and Gwen Skold. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
