He was predeceased by: his father James Paul Middleton; his siblings, Rev. James P. Thomas (Doc), Simeon, Benjamin, Collins, Melvin, Ruth, Thelma, Helen, Marriah, Marie and Eleanor; and his daughter Sherri.
He is survived by: his wife Shirlee Moore Middleton; his son Damon Todd; his brother Ronald Middleton; and his grandchildren, Larie, Brandon and Jolanda. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
