He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Armstrong and Mary Armstrong; his wife Barbara Armstrong; and his son James Scott Armstrong. He is survived by: his son Stephen Lee Armstrong (Robin); his granddaughters, Peyton Armstrong, Seslie and Annya Smith; his great grandchild Olivia Armstrong of Anderson, IN.; his siblings, Linda Fitch of Noblesville, IN, Shirley Coffelt (Terry) of Plainfield, IN and Ray Armstrong (Terry) of Springfield, TN; and his uncle Charles Lakey of Daleville, IN. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
