He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Jay Allen and Elizabeth Hickerson (Hogg); his wife Karen; his children, Robin Baumann (Neil) of Montana and Craig Hickerson (Kim) of Florida; his stepchildren, Dr. Elisa M. Katz (Don) of Illinois and Evan S. Katz (Shari); his brother Joe Hickerson of Oregon; and his son Jeffrey Hickerson. He was also cherished by four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
