He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Catherine; and his sister Susan Malone. He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, James Jason (Runa), Melissa Kay, Jenny Marie (Kirk), John Charles (Xiuli) and Mark Joseph (Christina); his grandchildren, James Dhar, Renée Sophia, Charles Xavier and Max Adam; and his brother Robert (Rhoda). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in James' name be made to Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages, FL.
