He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Maass and Angeline Sobczynski of Chicago, Illinois.. He is survived by: his wife Patty Maass; his children, Wayne Maass (Renee) and Pamela Jarman (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Michael Maass (Song), Andrew Maass (Ashley), James Maass (Angela), Daniel Smith (Tiffany) and Heather Goldberg. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
