With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Spurlock (Leesburg, Florida), born in East Liverpool, Ohio, who passed away on March 16, 2021 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, James O. McDowell and Olive G. Pryor McDowell; her husband Thurman Spurlock; and her sons, James Edward and Joseph Thurman Spurlock.

She is survived by: her children, William David Spurlock (Bill) of Belleview, FL and Karen Sue Spurlock Higgins (Larry Higgins) of Lady Lake, FL. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
