It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen George in Leesburg, Florida, born in Sarasota, Florida, who passed away on September 22, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Edward Galvin, Sr. and Josephine Davis Galvin; and her brothers, Clarence Edward "Buddy" Galvin and John Frances "Johnny" Galvin. She is survived by: her husband Donald Atkinson George; her daughters, Deborah Taylor (Michael) and Diana Kuharske (Jeffrey); her grandchildren, Kenneth Taylor (Nicole), Katherine Taylor Phelps (Matthew), Keeley Taylor Collins (Justin), Danielle Kuharske Avera (Sean) and Ethan Kuharske; her great grandchildren, Jackson Taylor, Caroline Taylor, Elise Phelps, Evan Phelps and Ainsley Avera; and her brothers, Dale Galvin and Jerry Galvin (Ruby). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made in Ellen's memory to the American Heart Association.
