She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Murphy and Thomas Murphy; her husband Robert Carruthers; her siblings, Theresa Murphy, Mary (Louis Goitz), Thomas (Mary Anne Murphy) and Catherine Donohue; and her nephew Edward Goitz.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Thomas, John, James, Steven Donohue, Louis Goitz, Mary Lou Mroczkowski, Barbara Pusateri, Cathy Tracy, Suzanne Ryan, Ellen Marcantonio, Anne Counihan, Peggy Brady, Mary Matusiewicz, Mary Anne Farrell, Kathleen Williams, Rosemary Menneto, Patricia Schaap and Dottie Krausnick; and her friend Mary Neylan.
