He is survived by: his son Mike (Mandie); his grandchildren, Alyssa and Haley; his son Stefan; his grandchildren, Joe and Teddy; his wife Carolyn; his stepson David (Jule); his stepgrandson Eli; his stepdaughter Eve (Walter); his siblings, Barbara (Ed's) and Bob (Georgia); his niece Michelle; and his nephews, Eric and Mark.
In later years, Ed and Carolyn broadened their excursions to parts of South America (including the Galápagos Islands) and France before the Pandemic set in and clipped their travel wings.
