He was predeceased by: his parents, Teddy A. Williams and Novella Gouge Williams of Elizabethton, TN.. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Vance Williams; his siblings, Loretta Williams May, Ramona Williams Trent of Elizabethton, TN, Theodore Williams and Bobby Williams of Knoxville, TN.; and his pet Jasper. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
