He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Schaaf and Gladys Schaaf; and his sons, Donald and Kevin Schaaf. He is survived by: his spouse Connie Jean Schaaf; his son Douglas A. Schaaf (Gretchen); and his stepchildren, Larry, Guy Williams and Deana Sparks (Lynn). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
