It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derell Thomas Ellerbe of Leesburg, Florida, born in Winter Haven, Florida, who passed away on October 26, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Alan (Ruth), Meagan Justus, Amanda Genter (Nick) and Alicia Miller (David); his siblings, Judy Futch (Art), David Ellerbe (Cheryl), Don Ellerbe (Debbie) and Doug Ellerbe (Barbara); his wife Barbara; his sibling Merle Wolf (Ronald); and his parents, Harley Eugene Ellerbe and Bessie Giles Ellerbe. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Suriname Missions c/o Cold Harbor Road Church of Christ.
