He is survived by: his wife Bessie Mae Brinson; his children, Valorie Burt-Steadman (Carter), Alicia Brinson, Lorrie Simmons and Gerard Brinson (Teanena); and his siblings, Robert Brinson (Anne), Eddie Brinson (Lenora), Benjamin Brinson (Earline), Johnnie Brinson, Doris Tucker (late Clarence), Christine Scott (Alfonzo), Ruby Morris and Evelyn Parker (Charles). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
