With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Dakauskas of Leesburg, Florida, who passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Dakauskas and Victor Dakauskas; and his sister Leigh Gates. He is survived by: his girlfriend Julie Slentz; his children, Vicki Ramirez (Rolando), Craig Dakauskas (Jodi), Lisa Karl (Dustin) and Stephanie VanderLaan (Chris); his grandchildren, Kristin Banford (Brett), Logan Ramirez, Samantha Dakauskas, Craig Dakauskas II, Tyler Kuna, Maddox VanderLaan, Anneliese VanderLaan, Ashton VanderLaan and Sawyer VanderLaan; his great grandchildren, Conlen Banford, Mya Banford and Elise Banford; his sister Cathryn Bieber (Paul); and his brother-in-law Don Gates. He is also survived by 4 nieces and nephews and 1 great nephew.
