He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Adams and Thelma Adams; and his siblings, Herbert Adams (Sandy), Billy Adams (Dixie), Lettie Sexton, Grace McCullough and Sue McCullough (Douglas).
He is survived by: his wife Laura Adams; his sons, Herbert Adams (Alice) of Portal, James Adams (Lisa) of Leesburg and Charles Adams (Karen) of Kissimmee; and his siblings, Bobby Adams, Cecil Adams, Eddie Adams, Barbara Wheeler (Larry), Christeen Dempsey (Harrison), Judy Lindsey (Robert), Nina Horton (Jesse) and Mickey Bragg (Junior). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
